Overview

• Introduction to Business Intelligence and Data Visualization: This module provides an overview of business intelligence concepts and the importance of data visualization. Students will learn about the role of POWER BI in transforming raw data into meaningful insights.

• Getting Started with POWER BI: In this module, students will be introduced to the POWER BI interface and its various components. They will learn how to connect to different data sources, create data models, and perform basic data transformations.

• Data Modeling with POWER BI: This module focuses on the data modeling capabilities of POWER BI. Students will learn how to design and optimize data models using relationships, calculations, and hierarchies. They will also explore advanced modeling techniques such as DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).

• Creating Interactive Reports and Dashboards: Students will learn how to create visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards using various visualization types available in POWER BI. They will gain hands-on experience in customizing visuals, applying filters, and creating drill-through actions.

• Data Transformation and Cleansing: This module covers advanced data transformation and cleansing techniques in POWER BI. Students will learn how to shape and clean data using Power Query Editor and implement data quality rules.

• Power Query and Data Integration: Students will explore the powerful data integration capabilities of Power Query in POWER BI. They will learn how to connect to multiple data sources, perform data transformations, and combine data from different sources into a unified dataset.

• Advanced Analytics with POWER BI: This module introduces students to advanced analytics features in POWER BI, such as using statistical functions, forecasting, and implementing machine learning algorithms.

• Sharing and Collaboration: Students will learn how to share and collaborate on POWER BI reports and dashboards with colleagues and stakeholders. They will explore different sharing options, configure data security, and publish reports to the Power BI service.
